Currently enrolled at Emily Carr, Lula-Belle continues to develop her practice to portray the unique embodiment individuals hold. Alongside photography and filmmaking, she curates exhibitions and creates events to connect her local community, and offers a safe space for expression.

She is known for her environmental and contextual portraiture, and her work shows best when it is a collaboration between herself and the individual. Lula-Belle uses the objective medium of photography to show the multifaceted sides of the individual to create meaningful, authentic work
